1. Showtech's Terms and Conditions
The following are terms and conditions are for the sale of goods that will govern any contract for sale that you the customer enter into with Showtech. Please read these terms and conditions carefully.
These Terms and Conditions tell you the rights and obligations you have. You may have other rights granted by law and these Terms and Conditions do not affect them. This does not affect your statutory rights as a customer.
We would advise you to print these terms & conditions of sale for your own reference, as they form part of the contract for the sale of goods between Showtech and you the customer.

3. Purchasing from us
To purchase from Showtech you must be over 18 years of age. We only ship to UK addresses. By submitting your order you are offering to
buy the goods at prices and terms as stated, and allowing us to use your
personal details for the purposes of supplying goods (including passing
your details onto couriers and other subcontractors). We will not use
your details for other purposes without asking your consent and you may
ask that your details are removed from our system by writing to the
We are not obliged to supply the goods to you until we have confirmed acceptance of your order - Your order is deemed accepted when you receive a confirmation for dispatch of goods, this is when the contract is made. You do not own the goods until we receive payment in full.
4. Product Images/descriptions
Product images displayed are for illustration purposes only and may
differ from actual products received. ShowTech will endeavour to
supply goods as per images shown, however manufactures do vary design
and packaging and we reserve the right to supply identical items with
alternative packaging without prior notice to the customer. ShowTech
always endeavour to supply correct information for all its products but
can not guarantee the accuracy.
5. Prices and Payment
All goods are priced exclusive of VAT, unless otherwise stated.
Prices are shown in UK pounds sterling and will be billed in UK pounds
sterling. If your credit card company operates in a different currency,
your credit card company will convert payment from UK pounds sterling to
your local currency at their current conversion rate.
All prices and offers are subject to change, and availability. Prices are checked regularly; however, whilst every effort is made to eliminate errors in pricing, sometimes errors do occur. If prices on web site are shown higher than actual selling price - we will make adjustments and charge the correct price to you, if prices on the web site are shown lower than actual selling price - than we will at our discretion either. a) Contact you, cancel your order and refund your money, or b) contact you to confirm if you wish to proceed with the order at the correct price. - Subject to not selling below our cost price.
The purchaser is liable for any additional local state, country taxes, import duties or copyright levies, should these arise.
6. Credit Card Security
Once you have gone through our checkout, you will be diverted to our protected secure on line payment system with our credit card processor, PayPal. Your credit card information will be held in protected SSL secure servers, at PayPal, we will not have access to your full credit card details, and we will not release information regarding your credit card. Your credit card details will only be used for transaction authorised by you.
7. Cancelling an Order
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 you have the following cancellation rights when you buy on line or by phone. You have the right to cancel any order within 14 days from the day the item is delivered to you.
Your right to return does not apply to goods made to your specification, non stock products you have specifically asked us to obtain as a 'special order' or that have been clearly personalised.
You need to contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org or write to the address above. You can phone us on 01455 632025. Inform us you wish to exercise your right to cancel your order. All we ask is please take care of the goods, ensure all items are complete and in their original packaging, unused and in full resalable condition. For your own protection, please send items back well packaged and using a recorded delivery service. Please put in a covering letter with your sales number and full contact details or a copy of your original sales receipt, and state if you want a refund or exchange.
If you decide to cancel, you should return the goods to us at your
own cost within 14 days of informing cancellation. We will reimburse to
you the amount in relation to goods to which cancellation rights apply
by the payment method used for the original transaction. This includes
the cost of delivery to you (except for the additional costs arising if
you choose a type of delivery other than our standard and least
expensive method of delivery)
We may make a deduction from the refund for loss in value of any goods supplied, if the loss is the result of unnecessary handling or inadequate care by you or you method of return. We will make the reimbursement no later than 14 days after the day we receive back from you any goods supplied
Please note: It is a legal requirement that you take care of the goods and you are responsible for all carriage costs of returning goods to us unless we delivered goods to you in error, or if goods are faulty.
The majority of Showtech's orders received by 5:00 pm are delivered the next working day. Sorry we cannot give an exact delivery time. If necessary use a different delivery address where someone is always in to receive the goods (i.e. a business address)
Showtech does not guarantee next working day delivery. Even with the best will in the world things can happen to delay your delivery. Always try to plan ahead to avoid disappointment.
We always try to avoid it but we also may deliver the goods in several consignments, but will not charge any extra delivery for this.
You will be informed by e-mail when your goods have been dispatched from our warehouse.
If you do not receive your goods within 2 working days, you have an
item missing or your goods are damaged. Please contact us at

within 2 working days from date of receipt, otherwise we assume your
goods have been delivered in perfect condition.
If we have not dispatched the goods within 30 days of expected delivery then you may cancel the contract. We will refund any monies paid by you.
If our couriers attempt to delivery your goods and no recipient was available to take delivery, they will take your goods back to the local depot and hold your package for up to 3 working days, if the package has not been successfully delivered within the time given the order will be returned back to us and classed as a failed delivery. If you order has been classed as a failed delivery, we can either re-send your order (at your cost) or a refund will be issued for the order less any delivery costs incurred by us. Once we have sent your order changing the delivery address will incur a second delivery charge.

9. Damaged or defective goods
You must inspect your goods immediately upon delivery for defects, damages or shortage. If you find any defects or damages you must inform us in writing by post or Email us soon as possible and we will arrange the return and replacement of your goods.
10. Business customers
If you are a business or if the goods are used wholly or in part for
business purposes we shall not be liable to you for any business loss
including loss of profits (whether direct or indirect) revenue,
goodwill, or incidental, or consequential loss that you may suffer as a
result of the purchase of goods from us. Any other liability shall be
limited to the price paid for the goods. We do not exclude our liability
for fraud or for death or personal injury. For our performance time is
not of the essence. Returns are subject to a 15% handling fee. You will
not export any goods purchased from us in contravention of any
International laws & by laws.
11. Returns of damaged or faulty goods
All items suspected to be damaged or faulty must be returned and tested, if no fault can be found or suspected fault replicated, then the item/s will be returned to you at your own cost (a handling charge of £25.00 may be incurred for testing items with no faults found) or a refund for the item will be issued and the item restocked (Please note a 15% handling fee will be applied). We will only send replacement goods upon receipt of returned items.
To return any goods to us, please send a copy of your original
receipt or a letter explaining what is wrong. Please ensure that you
clearly label all goods for return with your Name, and sales number.
